Geocaching is gaining more and more popularity every year. Will this be the year you get started? It seems like a lot of fun, doesn’t it?
Let’s get the party started! First you have to download the Geocache app on your phone (which will help you find Geocaches easily). Make sure you have a GPS app as well. There is a great community here to answer your questions and to learn about Geocaching. Then just go out and start looking for your first cache! (this is where the fun begins!) Once You’ve found it you can log it on the app and earn points in case you want to challenge yourself by trying out multiple caches at once! The app is great. You can also complete challenges and follow other hunters lists.
But there’s one more thing – look for the trackables hidden in some caches. Who knows how far they’ll travel all around the world…
Want to borrow a GPS tracker and try geocaching? Here is a list of parks that lend out GPS to find caches in the park.
