What you say? It’s back? When did it leave and where did it go? The cherry was moved for several months so it could get a long overdue paint job. But its back and you should come take a look at it in all its retouched glory. The sculpture garden at Walker is still free all day from 6 am to midnight and you can see the shiny cherry and 44 other sculptures for free.
Millions of visitors have visited the Garden since its opening in 1988. It’s set in the middle of the park and is run in partnership with Minneapolis Parks Board.
