Starting June 4, the DNR will be hosting its Thursday Trail Ride Series where guests are invited to explore the Minnesota state bike trails with a naturalist. The first Thursday trail ride will take place at the Gateway Trail on June 4. Riders should meet at the 10th Street lot near fleet farm (at I694 and Hwy 36). The second Thursday ride will take place at the brand new Brown’s Creek Trail in Stillwater on June 11. Interested parties should meet at the bottom of the trail downtown Stillwater by the old Zephyr train depot at 6:30 p.m. The idea is to explore the trail at a medium pace with interpretive stops along the way. Additional trail rides during June will take place at Minnesota Valley (18th) and Luce Line (25th) state trails. More information can be found at the events page on the DNR web site.
