Youth Science Day takes place, Thursday, July 21, 12-4 p.m. at the Science Museum of Minnesota. Special pricing is available for this event. For every full price adult admission, visitors can receive up to 4 youth admission tickets FREE (ages 4-17). The Youth Science Day event is hosted by the Kitty Andersen Youth Science Center. Visitors will discover the exciting world of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). Other discounts available at the Science Museum in general include the following:
- Student Discount Friday Evenings: Students eligible for reduced admission on Fridays after 5 p.m. for the museum and Omnitheater, $6/each, a valid student ID is required at the Box Office.
- Preschool Playdates: Bring your pre-school age children to the museum on Tuesdays between 10 a.m. and noon and receive FREE admission for each child 5 and under with a regular priced adult ticket, museum members receive admission Free during playdate times and children can make and take a special project each week.
- Limited Income Discounts: Receive reduced admission for $3 to the museum and $5 to the Omnitheater + admission, if you are at least 18 and enrolled in one or more of the following (TANF, MFIP, WIC, GA, MA, MinnesotaCare, SSI, SSD, Food Stamps, Section 8 or Free/Reduced Price School Meals.
